Season 3 of 'Only Murders in the Building' is about what?

The trailer for the third season of "Only Murders in the Building" has yet to be released, so we know very little about what to expect. Back in January, Selena Gomez, who plays Mabel Mora, revealed on Instagram that Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd would be joining the already star-studded cast, which also included Steve Martin as Charles-Haden Savage and Martin Short as Oliver Putnam.

Season two of "Only Murders in the Building" concluded on a cliffhanger, taking place a year after the majority of the events of the first season. During Oliver's play, Rudd's character Ben Glenroy fainted on stage as Charles was performing alongside him. Ben's relationship with the rest of the group is unknown, but it was made obvious that he and Charles did not get along. Ben's death appeared to be a homicide, causing the trio to look into yet another local crime. Although nothing is known about Streep's character, fans are eager to learn how she will figure into the plot.
